CELLAR DOOR MANAGER

We are looking for a full time Cellar Door Manager to inspire and lead our team on Bruny Island.

To be successful in this role you need to be enthusiastic, innovative, able to work with autonomy, and have the ability to build, motivate and lead a fantastic team to provide the best customer experience in our beautiful surrounds. We are an iconic Tasmanian food tourism business, so experience in the Tasmanian tourism industry will be essential.

We are a growing business, this role can lead to further opportunities for the right person.

This is a full-time role rostered over a 7 day period, weekend work is required (this may be alternate weekends).

Essential requirements:

  • Hospitality experience
  • Leadership qualities
  • RSA
  • Enthusiasm
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about cheese and beer!

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of cheese and beer making process (we will provide training for the right person)
  • Experience of rostering within a budget.

This role is based on Bruny Island is only accessible by ferry, so it would ideally suit someone who lives on the island or who is willing to move to Bruny Island. If you don't live on the island, you will need some form of your own transport to reach us.
