Bruny Island Breakfast
Who doesn't love a good brekkie hamper? What a way to start the day - with some of the best brekkie products from across Tasmania!
It stands for One Day Old and that is what it is. A simple curd cheese that is simply drained overnight, lightly salted and then when it is only a day old is marinated in olive oil flavoured with garlic, chilli, black pepper and chives. Perfect on an antipasto plate, stirred through hot pasta or crumbled over grilled vegetables.
A fresh One Day Old cheese wrapped in slices of local prosciutto, that you bake in the oven until the cheese goes all gooey, and the prosciutto goes all crispy. Serve it up with crusty bread and a leafy salad, and dinner is sorted.
OUR FARM BACON 250g
We're HUGE bacon fans ... and we think this is the bees knees! Smoked bacon from our very own old breed pigs (Wessex Saddlebacks and Berkshires) - these typically take longer to mature so get extra flavour! We have let these pigs free range on our farm in Glen Huon and as well as eating what they naturally find, we've been giving them milk and whey from the cheesery and grain from the brewery. Delicious!

Methode Ancestrale 100% Hand-picked Pinot Noir from the white gravel soils of the Yorktown Vineyard. Wild yeast fermentation begins in tank and completes in the bottle with no dosage. The wine is sealed while completing fermentation and will contain yeast sediment. The oldest and most fraught way to make sparkling wine.
